Users and permissions

Understand each permission, the suggested profiles, and the limits for managing team access.

The Learn more link appears below each item in the matrix at

Account, Users and permissions. Each link opens the corresponding permission on this page.

Invite members

  1. Go to Account, Users and permissions, Add team member.
  2. Enter the email addresses and press Enter to confirm each one. The form accepts up to ten email addresses per submission.
  3. Choose a suggested profile and review the selected permissions. Adjust the matrix to match the tasks these people need to perform.
  4. Select Send invitation and confirm your identity when prompted.
  5. Check the result for each address. A partial submission may leave some invitations requiring a correction.

This action requires Team and Add team members. The member can access the account only after accepting the invitation sent by email. Do not use the main account's email address as another member.

View permissions

  1. Go to Account, Users and permissions and find the person using the available filters.
  2. Open View permissions in the row's actions menu.
  3. Review the current permissions in the matrix.

Viewing permissions requires Team. You can view your own access in this area, but you cannot change it.

Update permissions

  1. Go to Account, Users and permissions and open View permissions in the actions for the member.
  2. Adjust the matrix and select Save changes.
  3. Confirm your identity when prompted and wait for Permissions updated.

Saving requires Update permissions. The limits for granting permissions or managing another person are in Rules for managing access below. Review the current permissions, including after another administrator has made a change.

Resend an invitation

  1. Go to Account, Users and permissions and find the member who still needs to complete their access.
  2. Use Resend invitation in the actions menu when the option is available.
  3. Wait for the required interval and complete the requested identity confirmation.

This action requires Add team members and does not restore removed access. The recipient must use the invitation to complete registration.

Remove a member

  1. Go to Account, Users and permissions and open the actions for the correct person.
  2. Select Remove member, check who will lose access, and confirm.
  3. Complete the requested identity confirmation and check the result in the list.

This action requires Remove team members. A member cannot remove their own access or manage someone whose permissions exceed their own. To end connected sessions only, go to

Account, Connected Devices.

How permissions work

View permissions grant access to an area or a set of information. Action permissions allow specific tasks, such as creating, editing, removing, or managing other users. Access to a module does not automatically grant all of its actions.

The first column in the matrices below shows the stable permission identifier. The second shows the name displayed in the Dashboard.

Grant only the access needed

Start with a suggested profile and remove anything the person does not need for their daily work. Changing the selection makes the profile Custom.

Rules for managing access

  • The Owner has full access to the account and is not a suggested member profile. Super administrator is a member profile and remains subject to the matrix rules.
  • A member cannot change their own permissions or remove their own access through this area.
  • A member can grant only permissions they hold themselves.
  • A member cannot edit or remove someone with permissions beyond their own. The Owner can manage the entire catalog.
  • Adding members, updating permissions, resending invitations, or removing access may require another identity confirmation.
  • Profile, security, notifications, personal activity, and personal sessions are personal features. The audit and session permissions listed below extend viewing or management to the entire company.

Creating charges also depends on customers

To select an existing customer, enable Customers. To add a customer while creating a charge, also enable Create customers.

Withdrawals require access to Pix keys

To request or configure withdrawals and to edit Pix keys for withdrawals, also grant View Pix keys for withdrawals. When you select one of these actions, the Dashboard selects the view permission automatically.

Suggested profiles

Profiles preselect permissions in the matrix. You can adjust the selection before inviting or saving a member.

Existing permission selections do not automatically include access to API logs, webhook logs, or resending. An authorized administrator must enable View request logs or View event logs in the member's matrix, together with the corresponding view permission, or reapply a profile that includes this access. The Owner retains access to logs.

Resend webhook events requires Webhooks and View event logs. When resending is selected, the matrix includes these dependencies if the administrator can grant them. Removing either dependency also removes the resend selection. Log access alone allows viewing, but not requesting another delivery.

The same applies to Edit webhook URLs and events: existing members need an authorized administrator to grant this permission. The Super administrator, Administrator, and Developer profiles include it when applied. Saving a configuration does not extend other members' permissions.

Selecting View event logs or Edit webhook URLs and events also selects Webhooks when you can grant that access. If you cannot, ask an authorized administrator to grant both permissions. Removing Webhooks also removes these two dependent selections.
